This is what LLM AI reporting looks like
Insights into the kind of data that's already available from ChatGPT, Perplexity etc.
LLM data will soon be all the rage in SEO reporting. Here are some insights into what you can expect to see—it's impressive and fascinating, given how new this technology is to the industry.
We've used a small sample size with Not On The High Street (NOTHS) as our example domain to demonstrate the data. For transparency, this isn't proprietary data—it's simply analyzing the NOTHS domain using the same approach as traditional Google search rank checking.
The data covers all major LLMs: ChatGPT, Perplexity, CoPilot, and Google AI Overviews—with Amazon Rufus and Gemini coming soon.
We predefine topics based on the client's industry niche. These then simulate manual queries focusing on commercial terms, using sophisticated prompting to gather responses. These queries are processed in bulk across the LLMs and stored, similar to traditional rank checking.
Visibility score
First, we’re all used to seeing your standard visibility score across Google searches; this is what it looks like for LLMs.
This screenshot shows that NOTHS has a 62% visibility score across these core LLMs for this small sample size.
This data is stored and documented daily to give a trend line over time.
Here we have this visibility score broken down by platform or chat engine:
Topic visibility and rankings
This score is broken down by topic cluster: Personalised Presents outperforming Personalised Gifts for visibility.
Each topic then has a brand rank, visualised by logos, giving a ranking as you’d expect on a SERP.
Page level analysis
Next, we can see the number of brand mentions across these topic clusters and identify which pages the LLMs most frequently reference.
Sentiment Analysis
Probably the coolest and most unique part is sentiment analysis, which aims to understand the positive or negative sentiment LLMs are expressing about your brand.
Despite being relatively new, the level of new and unique data accessible through LLM reporting is impressive. All SEO reporting will undoubtedly be littered with this data very soon.
